No two musicians’ seating requirements are the same, so earo had to deliver simple and intuitive controls for uncompromised adjustment to each musician’s personal preference.
Earo has a unique seat profile along with height and tilt adjustments, narrow backrest with its upright flexible profile and footrests in the base. These features combine to provide an elegant and ergonomically refined orchestra chair – easily adjustable, multimodal and suited to all seated members of the orchestra.

earo’s conceptual focus of ‘Sit Tall’ is its key design objective to promote a tall seated pose while maintaining the best possible postural balance and upper body mobility.
Sit Tall, Breathe Better
The elevated sitting position also allows the chest cavity diaphragm to open deeply with ease, thus promoting relaxed breathing while performing for all instrument groupings.
Open Posture
The open posture sets up the conditions for balanced movements associated with reduced muscle tension and thereby aiding the reduction of musculoskeletal injury and repetitive strain injury.

Earo’s design also recognises the logistical requirements of performance spaces and orchestra management. The chair’s lightweight frame make for easy manipulation and carrying.
Carry Handles
Conveniently placed handles on the underside of the seat and at the top of the backrest allow for easy and comfortable manipulating of earo orchestra chair.
Stackability
An innovative folding mechanism resets the chairs’ height to the same position for easy and compact nesting. A mobile storage cart is also available for earo orchestra chairs.
